Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate merger creates tri-state brokerage

A three-way merger has combined two Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchises with an independent brokerage, forming a larger tri-state operation. The deal brings together Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Maturo, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Dream Properties, and Realty Connect USA. The newly combined company will operate under the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand, serving clients across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

The merger consolidates multiple offices and a sizable agent roster into a single network. Leaders from the three firms said the move allows them to pool resources, share technology, and offer a broader range of services to home buyers and sellers. The combined brokerage will have a stronger presence in suburban markets as well as in parts of the New York City metro area.

Executives involved in the deal emphasized that the merger was driven by a need to adapt to shifting market conditions. Rising interest rates and changing inventory levels have pushed many brokerages to seek efficiencies through consolidation. By joining forces, the firms aim to provide agents with better support and marketing tools while maintaining local expertise in each community they serve.

The new entity will retain the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate name, which is part of a larger national franchise network. No financial terms of the merger were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the coming weeks, with operations integrating shortly after.
