EXCLUSIVE: Montana Home of Kelly Clarkson's Late Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock Is Listed for $2.9 Million—1 Year After His Death

The sprawling Montana property once owned by Brandon Blackstock, the late ex-husband of singer Kelly Clarkson, has been listed for sale at $2.9 million. The listing arrives just over a year after Blackstock's unexpected death in August 2025.

Blackstock purchased the home shortly after his divorce from Clarkson was finalized. The property, situated on a large plot of land in the rural outskirts of Bozeman, features a modern farmhouse design with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and expansive views of the surrounding mountains. The estate includes a detached guest house, a barn, and several acres of fenced pasture.

Real estate records show the home was bought by Blackstock in 2022, following the couple's highly publicized divorce settlement. The divorce, which was finalized in 2022 after years of legal battles, involved disputes over spousal support and property division. Clarkson was ordered to pay Blackstock a significant lump sum and ongoing monthly payments.

The property is being sold by Blackstock's estate. The listing agent described the home as a private retreat that offered Blackstock a quiet life away from the Hollywood spotlight. The asking price reflects the current market for luxury ranch properties in the area, which has seen steady demand from out-of-state buyers seeking wide-open spaces.

Blackstock, a music manager and the son of country music star Narvel Blackstock, died at age 43. The cause of death was not publicly disclosed. He and Clarkson share two children, River and Remington.
