Two high-performing New Jersey real estate teams have joined forces under the eXp Realty banner, creating a new group called Unify. The merger brings together Hatab, formerly with BHHS FOX & ROACH, and Boutros, who was already operating at eXp Realty. The combined team now boasts an impressive track record of 309 closed transactions and $120 million in sales volume.
The move marks a significant shift in the local market, as both leaders decided to pool their resources and client networks to gain a competitive edge. Hatab cited the need for a more collaborative and tech-driven platform as a key reason for leaving his previous brokerage. By merging with Boutros, the new entity aims to streamline operations and offer a wider range of services to buyers and sellers across the state.
Industry observers note that such consolidations are becoming more common as agents seek to scale their businesses without sacrificing personalized service. The Unify team plans to leverage eXp Realty's virtual infrastructure to reduce overhead costs while expanding its geographic reach. Both leaders expressed confidence that the merger will allow them to handle a higher volume of transactions while maintaining the attention to detail that their clients expect.
The team is already active in several New Jersey counties and is expected to announce additional hires in the coming months.
