Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, has sold one of the office buildings located within The Star in Frisco, Texas. The property, which is part of the larger team headquarters and entertainment district, was purchased by Hobbs Brook Real Estate. This transaction marks the first property acquisition in Texas for the Massachusetts-based real estate firm.
The building is a multi-tenant office space situated within the sprawling 91-acre development. The Star serves as the Cowboys' practice facility and corporate headquarters, but it also includes retail, dining, and office space leased to outside businesses. Financial terms of the sale were not publicly disclosed.
For Jones and the Cowboys organization, the sale represents a strategic move to monetize assets within the complex while retaining control over the core football operations. Hobbs Brook Real Estate, known for managing commercial properties across the United States, viewed the acquisition as an entry point into the growing Dallas-Fort Worth market.
The deal highlights continued investor interest in Frisco, a suburb that has seen rapid commercial growth over the past decade. The Star remains a central hub for the team, hosting practices, events, and the Cowboys' front office.
